After 23 years of being a couple, i must admit i never thought of us as being romantic. To begin with i was
thinking of romance being something like dining at the the top of the Eiffel Tower or drinking champagne
whilst in a hot air balloon, which is not us at all. It got me thinking and what i realised is that we say love
you to each other everyday, its the simple things like this which make a couple. The times we go for a stroll
and hold hands, as though it was the first time again just like when we first met.
Having suffered with anxiety and depression over the last 15 years after the sad loss of my dad, would of been father in law and a couple of miscarriages, Shaun noticed 3 years ago that i was at an all time low. I found everyday life difficult and i felt like i was being swallowed up. I know both Shaun and my daughter worried extremely. Then one day during this hard time my daughter came into the kitchen with a big smile on her face followed by Shaun. In Shaun's arms was a bundle of fluff, a puppy. Shaun placed the puppy onto the floor and it came running towards me, this is when i recognised it was an andrex puppy. I immediately felt a connection to him and we called him Charlie Brown. This to me was the most romantic and thoughtful gesture that my husband to be an daughter have ever done. Within days i was back on the mend and a month later we had another new puppy in the family and he was named Bobby Brown. From then on me and Shaun have had many weekends away together with the dogs, including strolls along the beach and picnics in the woods. If i was to win this competition then i could surprise Shaun with the night in the honeymoon suite and give him something to remember and cherish just like he did for me.
Why We Chose Exquisite
I Knew from the start that i wanted to wed in Greece. I searched on the internet for a couple of hours. I found some sites to be too expensive, some with no prices given at all and many packages including the release of doves (sounds romantic if i dared to hold one in the first place). I had even spoken to a couple of tour operators and found them to be matter of fact, and with no interest as to what i wanted. Eventually i came across Exquisite Weddings. They were the one.
The packages along with prices were simple to read and the photographs showed it all. The site gave me all the information i required and gave me an insight as to the places i could get married, with lots to choose from. Even ideas on wedding extras are included and also great feedback from past couples. Within moments i had to ring and book, which is what i did, no more messing about and searching. I spoke to Angela and felt at ease with our friendly conversation.
